Alpha is a public marketplace for investment. Seekers publish opportunities that need capital. Investors browse those opportunities and open the ones they want to pursue.
How a listing moves
Status moves from draft to submitted. Staff publish it before anyone can browse it as seeking.
Draft
A seeker describes an opportunity and sets the funding they need. Confirm the draft before you submit it for staff review.
Submitted
Submit moves the draft to submitted. The listing is waiting on staff. Staff will publish it when it is ready. It is not seeking yet.
Seeking
Staff publish a submitted listing so it is seeking, or return it to the seeker as a draft. A listing joins the public marketplace when it is seeking investment. Guests can read it without an account.

Investor
An individual or organisation looking to invest in opportunities and connect with investment seekers. Browse seeking listings by sector and region, then follow the opportunities that fit.
Investment seeker
A business, organisation or community with an investment opportunity seeking funding or partnership. Describe an opportunity, set the funding you need, and submit the listing for staff review.
Consultant
Provides advisory, technical or other services to support investment projects and stakeholders. An investor and a consultant exchange messages about a listing.
Government
Works with a government institution. A government reviewer replies on the challenge page after someone describes a challenge they met while investing.
Staff
Publish a submitted listing so it is seeking, or return it to the seeker as a draft. Review reported comments. Hiding a comment removes it from the public listing.
