Licensed zones, not the whole country
The Export Processing Zones Authority licenses and regulates export processing zones and related special economic zones on the mainland. A zone incentive applies inside that zone. It does not automatically follow a project outside it. Read the current mandate at https://www.epza.go.tz.
Limit to keep in mind
- 1 Zone licence Confirm that the site is inside a licensed zone before you rely on a zone incentive.
- 2 Sector rules Mining, banking, and land still follow their own laws.
