Individual enterprise
A person trading, not a company
An individual enterprise is for locals and foreigners who are not incorporating a company. The sequence is shorter. It still starts with a taxpayer number and a licence.
Steps for an individual enterprise
- 1 TIN for an individual with a NIDA ID The trader’s taxpayer number when they hold a national identity number.
- 2 TIN for foreigners without a NIDA ID The equivalent taxpayer number when there is no national identity number.
- 3 Tax clearance certificate Evidence that tax obligations are in order before a licence is issued.
- 4 Business licence Permission for that person to trade. This is not a certificate of incorporation.
- 5 Complete each office in order The person still walks the tax and licence steps. Skipping one does not make the enterprise registered.
